Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Global Blockchain Show Abu Dhabi 2025 reached its conclusion on December 10–11 at Space42 Arena because it brought together all global stakeholders from the blockchain and Web3 ecosystem to discuss three topics, which included regulation, enterprise adoption, and emerging digital technologies. The event was organized by VAP Group and powered by Times of Blockchain. The conference brought together more than 5000 participants, which included government officials, business executives, investors, and startup founders. The event plan included more than 100 international speakers who spoke at 50 different sessions, while an exhibition displayed more than 100 companies and their early-stage business ventures.
The event showcased how blockchain technology developed from its initial use as a speculative tool to present-day applications across various fields, including finance, healthcare, supply chains, public services, and digital identity. The event featured thematic presentations that addressed decentralized finance (DeFi), real-world assets (RWA), Web3 infrastructure, interoperability, and the increasing connection between blockchain technology and artificial intelligence.
“It’s refreshing to attend a conference like this and engage face-to-face with the audience. The direct interaction makes the experience valuable,” said Carl Moon, entrepreneur, investor, and founder of The Moon Group.
The conference revealed how public and private organizations work together with clear regulations to increase blockchain usage, which was supported by the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau as its Destination Partner. The United Arab Emirates uses its policy framework, which supports innovation, to build investor trust while maintaining compliance.
Industry Leaders Share Perspectives

The Global Blockchain Show Abu Dhabi featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, fireside chats, and spotlight sessions led by executives and technologists from across the global Web3 landscape. Speakers addressed how blockchain is transitioning from experimental deployments to enterprise-grade and government-backed implementations.
Notable speakers included Nenter Chow, Global CEO of BitMart; Sergej Kunz, Co-Founder of 1inch; Stephan Lutz, CEO of BitMEX; Yat Siu, Co-Founder and Chairman of Animoca Brands; Janet Adams, COO of SingularityNET; Cathy Hackl, CEO of Future Dynamics; Jason Jiang, Chief Business Officer at CertiK; and Sami Waittinen, CMO of Trust Wallet.

Startup Showcase and Exhibition
The exhibition area displayed multiple blockchain and Web3 solutions, which included decentralized finance platforms and gaming and metaverse projects and enterprise blockchain infrastructure and AI-integrated technologies. The startup pitch sessions provided early-stage companies with an opportunity to showcase their products to investors, ecosystem partners, and media representatives.
Participating startups included Epow.io, CereBree, and SIXR Cricket, among others. The exhibition reflected the growing diversity and maturity of the Web3 ecosystem, with a focus on practical deployment and scalable solutions.
Networking and Institutional Participation
The event required networking as its essential component because the event schedule included both private meetings and VIP activities and special sessions. The organizers reported that institutional stakeholders and regional decision-makers participated strongly, which strengthened Abu Dhabi’s status as a blockchain and digital economy development hub.
“This was my first time attending, and the quality of the audience stood out. I would be open to participating again,” said Nenter Chow, Global CEO of BitMart.
Looking Ahead
The Global Blockchain Show Abu Dhabi 2025 concluded its events by demonstrating how blockchain technology now serves as a fundamental element for international trade operations and governmental functions and digital system development. The event demonstrated how the industry now moves toward creating actual business results while obtaining backing from organizations and following established regulations.
