According to a recent announcement, Satlantis has released a platform for booking events with Bitcoin that directly links Lightning Network wallets in user accounts and or events. The platform will automatically create a unique Lighting wallet for each event, giving the event organizer the ability to sell tickets and be paid in BTC without having to rely solely on traditional processors.

Lightning Network Integrated Payment Methods Reducing Fees

Satlantis has developed a decentralized, digital ticketing platform that allows users to interact with a single Bitcoin wallet per event and provides an alternative method for purchasing at live events via the Lightning Network. Furthermore, based on River’s findings, by leveraging the Lightning Network, Satlantis has reduced the costs associated with cross-border payments from more than $1.1 billion in November 2025 across 5.2 million transactions.

A Practical Getaway For Even Management

Satlantis is a travel and community social network, similar to Eventbrite or Luma, as it, too, has ticketing tiers, attendee management, and event pages, while also enabling native crypto capabilities of ticket sales. Additionally, Satlantis integrates with Stripe for fiat payments and plans to add support for stablecoins. Therefore, event organizers may offer ticket sales in either Bitcoin, fiat, or both through one dashboard. The company’s investors include Bitcoin Opportunity Fund (BOF) and Timechain Capital (Timechain), both specialized investment firms focused on the Bitcoin ecosystem growth.

Final Take

The company's launch has taken several years to test out various forms of crypto-based ticketing, including but not limited to the following: The Sacramento Kings, who began accepting bitcoin, and FIFA offering a method for fans to buy tickets using NFTs for the 2026 World Cup. Satlantis is attempting to make tickets cheaper via lower fees while also reaching people who live where traditional payment infrastructure is limited.
