Bitget’s integration with xStocks brings tokenized stock trading to its Onchain platform, merging traditional assets with Web3.
  2. Tesla, Apple, Nvidia Now On-Chain
Tokenized versions of major stocks, such as Tesla (TSLAx), Nvidia (NVDAx), and Apple (AAPLx) are now live on Bitget Onchain.
  3. 24/5 Global Market Access
Users can trade tokenized equities nearly round-the-clock without traditional brokerage accounts or geographic limits.

Bitget, one of the leading crypto exchanges, has introduced tokenized stocks via its Onchain platform. The initiative, enabled through a partnership with xStocks, allows users to trade blockchain-based versions of top global equities such as Tesla, Nvidia, and Apple.

Per a press release shared with TimesCrypto, the tokenized listings, including Tesla (TSLAx), Nvidia (NVDAx), MicroStrategy (MSTRx), Apple (AAPLx), Circle (CRCLx), and SP500 (SPYx), are issued by xStocks and are now tradable directly on Bitget Onchain. These tokenized equities mirror the value of their traditional counterparts, offering digital exposure to legacy financial markets through a crypto-native interface.

Launched in early 2025, Bitget Onchain is a hybrid platform that merges centralized user experience with decentralized asset interaction. It enables users to manage and trade blockchain-based assets directly from their spot account, eliminating the need for external wallets or third-party bridges.

Commenting on the launch, Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, said:

We’re entering a new phase of market access, one where crypto, stocks, and traditional finance don’t compete—they coexist and complement each other.

Adding:

With tokenized equities on Onchain, we’re giving users the ability to move between asset classes with the speed and flexibility of Web3, while still connecting to the value of traditional markets. This is how we see CeDeFi evolving.

What Do Tokenized Stocks Offer?

One of the most immediate and visible shifts introduced by tokenized stocks is in market accessibility.

Traditional stock exchanges operate within narrow time windows, typically 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time on weekdays, limiting investor access to regular business hours.

Tokenized equities, however, offer extended trading availability, with many platforms supporting 24/5 activity and some aiming for full 24/7 access. This structure allows global investors to react to earnings releases or macroeconomic news in real time, even outside the bounds of traditional market schedules.

Beyond extended access, tokenized stocks lower entry barriers for global investors. Unlike traditional brokers, which often require local bank accounts, compliance checks, and minimum deposits, tokenized equities can be bought using stablecoins via a crypto wallet, opening global access with fewer restrictions.

Tokenization also enables fractional ownership, allowing users to buy small portions of high-value stocks, such as Tesla or Nvidia, beyond what most brokers offer. This supports greater diversification, particularly for retail investors with limited capital.

Additionally, tokenized assets offer faster Settlements. Traditional equities often require two business days to clear, while On-chain trades can settle within minutes, lowering counterparty risk and operational overhead.

Blockchain custody also gives users direct control over assets, bypassing reliance on broker platforms and aligning with the self-sovereign principles of crypto.

Despite the nascent regulatory framework, the efficiency, accessibility, and programmability of tokenized equities position them as a pivotal development in the modernization of global financial infrastructure.
